Embark on a creative journey with Adventures in Art, our children’s day camp!
Each morning, young artists will jump into a world of imagination with multiple exciting art activities, exploring a variety of mediums, techniques, and themes. There’s something new to discover every day.

Adventures in Art Day Camp – Parent Guide
Schedule
Adventures in Art is from Monday, June 2–Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 9AM–12PM EST. This is a small group camp, with 10 campers ages 6 & up.
Campers should arrive no earlier than 8:45AM EST and leave Traditional Arts no later than 12:15PM EST.
Daily schedule may shift depending on the activity. Below is our basic daily schedule:
8:45 – 9:00am Arrival / Check-in
9:00–9:15am Good morning/daily review
9:15–10 Workshop One
10:00–10:45am Workshop Two
10:45–11am Snack
11–11:45am Workshop Three
11:45–Noon Wrap up/daily review
Noon–12:15 Pick up
Camp Registration
Registration begins at 6pm on April 21, 2025 at Traditionalartstoday.corsizio.com.
This camp is FREE thanks to a grant from the Menke Charitable Foundation. However, any cancellations, no matter when, will incur a $50 charge.
Check In and Check Out Procedures
Campers must sign in each morning from 8:45–9:00am EST.
Campers must be signed out each day between 12–12:15pm EST.
Drop off and pick up is in our classroom space in the carriage house, behind the main Traditional Arts Today building. Staff will be there to greet you and assist in signing in and signing out your camper.
Snacks
Campers should arrive at camp well-fed and ready to create. Adventures in Art provides one snack per day. When you register, please note any dietary allergies, sensitivities, or restrictions of your camper.
Campers must bring a refillable water bottle with secure lid every day of camp. Water refills will be readily available.
Medical Needs
We do not administer medications to campers, and any medications taken during the camp will need to be administered by a camper’s caregiver.
What to Wear to Camp
We might get messy! Campers should wear comfortable, breathable clothing that is able to get messy. Campers should leave their nicest, most expensive, and/or favorite clothing at home.
Campers should wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes. Sneakers are perfect. Open-toed shoes or flip flops are not allowed. We will be creating both indoors and outdoors.

- Leave personal possessions at home (games, toys, etc.).
- Be prepared to take home camper’s art works on Friday
