Discover the joy of oil painting in this relaxing, three-part beginner-friendly series with artist Alana Goepfrich.

Step by step, you’ll create an 11"x14" landscape, learning foundational skills along the way.

Part 1: Review oil painting basics, sketch a quick black-and-white pencil value study, and create a monochromatic underpainting on canvas.

Part 2: Learn color mixing, creating a wide range of hues from just red, yellow, blue, and white. Together, we’ll identify and block in the main colors of our landscape.

Part 3: Continue mixing colors, add details, and put the finishing touches on your masterpiece.

No experience necessary, this class is for beginners! Please plan to attend all three sessions, as each builds on the last. Come relax, learn, and release your inner Renoir!
