Macramé Workshop: Wall Plant Hanger

Join artist Lori Morton for a relaxing and creative macramé workshop!

Together you'll craft an 8"x25" on-the-wall plant hanger. Using soft 4mm macramé cord in eucalyptus green, you’ll learn the foundational knots of macramé—including the square knot, half-square knot, and gathering knot—and see how these simple techniques turn into beautiful, functional art.

Whether you’re brand new to macramé or looking to sharpen your knot-tying skills, this workshop offers step-by-step guidance, plenty of encouragement, and a project you’ll be proud to display.

Activities are made possible in part by the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana, the Indiana Arts Commission, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

We value inclusion and access for all participants. This class is wheelchair accessible and we are pleased to provide additional reasonable accommodations. Please contact Alexianna at alexi@traditionalartstoday.org to make a reasonable accommodation request. Requests must be submitted 2 weeks in advance of class.
